Rainy River District Paramedic Services is operated by Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board in Ontario’s beautiful sunset country. Serving a population of approximately 20,000 in a  geographic area of over 15,000 square kilometres, RRDPS operates Paramedic base locations in Atikokan, Fort Frances, Emo and Rainy River. Thirty-six full-time and sixteen part-time and casual staff serve 24/7 in Community Paramedicine and Paramedic Services to provide highly skilled and compassionate care to more than 5,500 calls for service a year.
