The District of Rainy River Services Board (DRRSB) has been allocated 10 spaces through the Canada-Ontario Housing Benefit (COHB) program.

The COHB provides direct financial support to help cover rent with a private landlord. Individuals who are already on the housing waitlist—or eligible to be on it—may qualify. For those receiving Ontario Works (OW) or the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), COHB bridges the gap between their shelter allowance and actual rental costs.
